This was the important application/interview that I mentioned months ago, but didn't want to talk about because I didn't want to jinx it. I just got the e-mail saying that I've been accepted into the program! I really can't believe that I'll be going back to Japan! I won't find out where I'll be placed in Japan for another month or two though, so I'm still anxiously waiting about that.

I'm filled with such a huge mix of emotions right now. I almost started crying because of it. I'm so excited that I get the chance to go back to Japan for an extended period of time. I really don't think I can even describe it. I'm also anxious because I'll be leaving my life in America behind for a while. There will be people that I'll miss terribly and I know a lot of things at home will change while I'm gone. So, I would say that overall I'm happy, but nervous. I'm trying my best not to focus on the nerves right now though. (There'll be plenty of time for that later.) I have a bunch of people that I still need to go tell about my results!

I am internally flailing around like my icon right now and I think I will be for a while~

I finished reading the last chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist tonight.

I can't believe I'm leaving for Japan tomorrow~! Yes. I am so excited, you get sparkles.

Really, I'm kind of freaking out right now. I'm still super excited and nervous. I've wanted to visit Japan for so long, and I can't believe that I'm actually going there!

I need to try and get some sleep tonight because I have to leave the house at 4 AM to catch my 7 AM flight. I don't know how much sleep I'm actually going to get though. I'm too excited/nervous. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep on the plane because it's going to be one long flight.
