They'll call it chance, or luck, or call it Fate

This weekend was fun, but very tiring. By Friday night stellawind, Greta, Nicole, and Zuryvette had all arrived at my house for the weekend. I was so happy to see them! I really miss them. Saturday was my (and Adam's) graduation party. It was good to get the chance to see most of my relatives before I leave for Japan (though I think I answered the same three questions about when I was leaving, where I would be living, and who I'd be teaching a million times). Seeing my friends was nice too because I haven't seen most of them very much this summer. I was happy that yaexrae visited on Saturday, too! It would have been nice to have a bit more time with my friends, but I wanted to also visit with my family. One of my favorite parts of the party was when my friends and I were playing with Hayden, helping him blow bubbles. It was too cute. I'm going to miss that little guy while I'm gone. I also laughed at the fact that my neighbor assumed there was something going on between DJ and I, even though I told her he was just a friend. (I think I've lost count of the number of people who've assumed that DJ and I are together, lol.) I also loved getting to see baby Graysen and holding him. He's so sweet~

Today I realized that I'll be leaving for Japan in a month! I am simultaneously very excited and somewhat nervous. I'm nervous because I have so much stuff to do before I go. There's a ton of stuff that I need to do in preparation for leaving. I'm trying not to think too much about that right now because if I do it's going to make me even more nervous. ^_^;

Sky seems to be doing much better now. For the past couple days he's been acting a lot more like himself. I hope that means that his back is healing well and that it won't give him any problems later on.

I'm looking forward to this weekend! Saturday is my graduation party, so I'll get to see a bunch of my friends and family. Some of my friends from IU are even coming to visit (stellawind, Greta, Nicole, and Zuryvette are arriving tomorrow)! Then, on Sunday I'm going with some of my friends to Chicago Pride~ Yay!

I'm an official graduate of Indiana University~! I'm so happy! :D

Today was graduation day. It was a very long day, but most of it was pretty good. Being herded around for two hours before the ceremony with all of the other graduates was tedious, but the ceremony itself was nice. Greta and I got to sit together, so it wasn't as boring as it could have been. A lot of important people said heartfelt things and it really hit me. My college was a such great place to spend four years. I couldn't have asked for a better school.

After the ceremony, Mom, Dad, Adam, and I went out to dinner at Asuka. It was yummy and I got a nice bento box set of food (and some umeshu). Then we returned back to my place were we vegged out and watched the newest Star Trek movie. Later, before everyone else went back to their hotel, we went and got ice cream at Jiffy Treat.

Tomorrow I get to pack up the rest of my stuff and move back home. I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand I will miss it very much. I'll miss the people I usually see (my geeky friends ♥) and the places I normally go. Bloomington is a lovely town. On the other hand, I'm ready to leave. It's been four years and I've had a lot of great times, but I feel like it's time to move on and start the next chapter in my life. Before I was freaked out about graduation, but now that I know what I'm doing I feel like I'm ready for it. I need to go!

My graduation party was last weekend. It was alright. I saw a bunch of friends and family, but it would've been nice if I'd had more of a chance to talk with everyone. Quite a few people had to leave early and I really wish I'd gotten the chance to see them longer.

Things haven't been too eventful recently, so I haven't felt like updating. I've just been lazing around, enjoying the summer. I really don't have much that I have to do. It's nice.

I wish I had something more interesting to post about, but I don't. So I'm just going to leave it at this. 

I had a good weekend. On Saturday my parents gave me my graduation present; my very own laptop! I was expecting it, so I wasn't surprised, but I'm still very happy about it! Now I need to transfer a bunch of files from the computer to the laptop. That's going to take some time.

Saturday night was Jessie's graduation party. It was very fun. There was good food and almost all of our friends were there. We spent time hanging in Jessie's room, like we always do. Us girls got Joel to be our manservant and go get us cake. Then we ran around outside. We jumped on the trampoline and then we all climbed onto Jessie's roof. I loved just sitting up there. It was so peaceful. Afterwards Meghan gave us her awesome massages. They felt so good! She gives the best massages I've ever had. We slept over at Jessie's, so the next morning we took the puppy for a walk to the park. While we were there it started raining, so we danced in the rain. It was nice.

Sunday night (last night) I went over to Meghan's. She invited me and Kevin over so we could have an anime night. We ended up watching some You're Under Arrest and some Evangelion. We watched the End of Evangelion movie because I hadn't seen it. All three of us had such a great time we decided that we needed to have anime nights more often.

Today was my last day of high school!!! I almost can't believe it! *dances* I feel like partying!

The actual graduation ceremony is next Wednesday.
