Jan. 13th, 2012 08:33 pmI've caught my first cold of my stay in Japan. I figured if it was going to happen it would probably happen sometime during my three week concert extravaganza. I was unfortunately correct. Apparently spending all night clubbing, then going to concerts two nights in a row did not agree with my immune system. I'm not very sick. It's more of an inconvenience than anything, with a stuffy nose, sore throat, and that slightly off feeling. Akiko-sensei took me to a nearby clinic after work yesterday and the doctor prescribed me some meds. One is a pill and the other is that gross powdered medicine that seems fairly common in Japan. It tastes like chalk. I'll take it if it helps me feel better though. Of course, catching a cold had to happen right before the concert I most want to be well for.
I'm determined not to let this cold stop me. Tomorrow night is the GazettE concert that I've been looking forward to for months. I've been getting extra sleep and drinking lots of orange juice. I want to be as well as I can be for tomorrow. I'm watching GazettE's Tokyo Dome concert right now, then I'm going to head to bed early again. I really can't wait for tomorrow~
