I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE JET PROGRAM! I GET TO GO TEACH IN JAPAN! jjfkajhgaskljl;l

This was the important application/interview that I mentioned months ago, but didn't want to talk about because I didn't want to jinx it. I just got the e-mail saying that I've been accepted into the program! I really can't believe that I'll be going back to Japan! I won't find out where I'll be placed in Japan for another month or two though, so I'm still anxiously waiting about that.

I'm filled with such a huge mix of emotions right now. I almost started crying because of it. I'm so excited that I get the chance to go back to Japan for an extended period of time. I really don't think I can even describe it. I'm also anxious because I'll be leaving my life in America behind for a while. There will be people that I'll miss terribly and I know a lot of things at home will change while I'm gone. So, I would say that overall I'm happy, but nervous. I'm trying my best not to focus on the nerves right now though. (There'll be plenty of time for that later.) I have a bunch of people that I still need to go tell about my results!

I am internally flailing around like my icon right now and I think I will be for a while~

Congratulations!!! I'm gonna apply to teach in Japan in the fall again, too! :) Won't be through JET, but if we're in the same area and everything works out we'll have to meet up!!
