They'll call it chance, or luck, or call it Fate

Things are back to normal.

So, on Friday night, I went with Meghan to pick up a copy of Breaking Dawn. Didn't really have time to read it until Sunday though. 

On Saturday I went with Meghan and her family to Six Flags. It's been a couple years since I've last been there, so it was fun to go. At one pint during the day, we ended up waiting in line for three hours to go on the new Dark Knight ride. The ride was fun, but not worth a three hour wait. We went on the actual Batman ride at the very end of the day, after it had gotten dark. That was awesome. Batman is my favorite ride.

Been hanging out with DJ (and consequently Sarah and Savannah) for the past couple days. We've been catching up. I hadn't seen him for a few weeks because of his surgery. He's doing much better now though. We've mostly been going out for food and playing board games. Yes, I know it all sounds very exciting, but there's nothing like playing a nice game of Apples to Apples, or Cranium, every once in a while.

The past couple days have been so great.

Thursday was the physics trip to Six Flags. I hadn't been to Six Flags in a very long time. It is a ton of fun! Almost all of our group of friends was there. We spent the whole day in the park and went on a ton of rides. I get really nervous about going on huge rollercoasters, so I was proud of myself when I went on Batman once and Superman twice. And I liked both of them! I think Superman might be my favorite ride there.

My cousin Tami also had her first baby on Thursday. It was a boy and they named him Hayden Michael. Aww. I can't wait to go see him!

Then last night was the junior/senior school social. That was one of the best dances I've ever been to! Social is a theme dance and everyone goes in costume. Our group did Mardi Gras costumes. We spent hours getting all of us ready. I wore a bunch of beads, a feather boa, a glittery top hat, and a fricking half ton of glitter on. Most of the rest of the group wore masks, but I Elise and I didn't because of our glasses. The dance was held at a place out here called CD's & Me, which is a place you can rent out for parties and such. It kind of looks like a cross between a warehouse and a barn. It's partially enclosed with a good sized dance floor on the inside. That's where the actual dance was. There was also a huge tent with all sorts of food. We ate, then we danced. I danced so much! The music was pretty good; a wide variety of stuff. Half the dance there was a DJ and the other half they had a band playing cover songs. Then at the end they shot off fireworks outside. So awesome! I forgot to bring my camera though, so I'll have to see if I can get pictures from Lisa.

I am so tired today, but the past few days have been worth it.
