Today was a letdown. Cinema Bizarre, one of my favorite bands, announced that they're breaking up. I haven't even been a fan of them for a year, but they meant a lot to me. I had even hoped to see them in concert this year, as the band had been talking about an American tour. I got into their music during last spring, when I was going through a really hard time. As a result, they've meant a lot to me. That's why I'm so sad about their break-up. The members are going their separate ways and appear to be doing their own things. Their lead singer, Strify, is going solo, so I'll probably try and keep track of him. It won't be the same though.

It really is. That's the hard part about liking bands, possible break-ups.

I'm sorry, hon. Break-ups suck, but the best you can hope for is that all the members are happy and they keep making music they love on their own terms.
