I got word from Alie this afternoon that our little Leroko had to be put to sleep. Shortly after the school year ended she started developing symptoms of FIP. Her health kept deteriorating, so Alie did the kind thing and put her to sleep so she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. She was Alie's cat, but I lived with her for the whole school year, so it was like she was our cat. I'll miss that goofy little kitten. She was only a year old, but she got a lot of love in her short little life.

Poor baby... she's so precious looking! :( It's so sad that she had serious health problems when she was still so young. But it was responsible to end her suffering humanely. Even a short life can be a good one. :)

I'll miss her, but I do agree that it was good to end her suffering. My friend told me it had gotten to a point where Leroko couldn't walk properly and could barely eat, so she thought it best not to extend her suffering. I'm comforted by the fact that she was well-loved in her short life.
