Jan. 8th, 2009 06:32 pmBreak has been going pretty good. Mom and I went downtown to see Wicked yesterday! It was so awesome! Definitely the best production I've seen. I'm really glad I got the chance to see it before it leaves Chicago at the end of the month.
Most of the rest of my time has been spent lazing around the house, or hanging out with friends. A bunch of my friends got together at Leyla's house last week. We did karaoke and played games, like Spoons and Taboo. It was a lot of fun. It was really good to see Leyla because I haven't seen her in forever.
I've also been spending a lot of time with DJ over break. We've been going shopping, watching movies, eating at Denny's in the middle of the night, and going out for coffee or smoothies during the day. I'm going to miss that boy when I go back to school.
And I've very recently fallen in love with the band Tokio Hotel. They're a popular German band, who put out an English CD this past year. I've been listening to their music a lot. I really like their sound. And their lead singer Bill is completely gorgeous! Listening to them makes me realize that it's been a while since I've really gotten into any bands outside of J-rock.
