They'll call it chance, or luck, or call it Fate

Amusing moment of the day: DJ and I getting mistaken for a couple at Denny's. We were there for dinner and because it was Saturday night Denny's had hired an old man to come and make balloon animals for customers. DJ and I were just talking and enjoying our dinner when the balloon man came up to our table. He gave DJ a heart shaped balloon and told him to give it to me and make sure to lean close and whisper something sweet in my ear when he did it. The old man then asked me if DJ was the romantic type or if he was shy. I decided to go along with it and replied that DJ was very romantic, he had even made me dinner the night before (which was true). After the balloon man walked away, DJ gave me the balloon and we both collapsed into giggles. Old men; well intentioned, but not very good when it comes to gaydar.

Afterwards we went to DJ's house and watched It Takes Two, which was a movie that we had both loved as kids. We then decided to go surprise Jessie at work, over at Tommy Nevin's. She was really happy to see us. I was glad because we hadn't seen her much at all recently. DJ and I both had Malibu Frogs (which were an improvement over the martinis we had last time, much less alchoholic tasting) while we waited for her shift to end. We then went back to DJ's to spend some time catching up with Jessie. So all in all, it was a good night.
