They'll call it chance, or luck, or call it Fate

I had a nice time for the rest of my break. On Wednesday, Mom and I had dinner with Tami and Hayden at Applebee's. It was good to see them for a bit. Hayden is such a little cutie. I mostly spent the rest of my time either laying around or hanging out with DJ. We ran around with Allison and Alyssa for a bit on Thursday night. Then I spent the day with DJ on Friday. That night all of my friends met up for dinner at Denny's with Leyla. I hadn't seen her in forever, so it was good to check in with her! Friday night was spent at DJ and Elise's apartment again. We woke up in the morning to realize that it had snowed outside, which completely sucked because it had been 60 degrees the day before.

Back in Bloomington now. Classes start tomorrow. Not too excited about that, but it's nice to be back in Bloomington. There where however two exciting packages waiting at the house! One was Nicole's dolly and another was for me from meepalicious. (Here's the pictures you requested, Leslie!)

So, this weekend was actually better than I expected it to be, what with it being Singles Awareness Day and all.

Yesterday, I unintentionally enabled Nicole into buying a ball-jointed doll, which was super exciting because up until yesterday I didn't know that she had any interest in them whatsoever. She's getting a Honey Delf Pie! I'm planning on bringing Brynn back to school with me after spring break, so then we can have fun dolly times.~

We went shopping yesterday afternoon, too. I picked up the first volume of the Kuroshitsuji manga. I have a couple nitpicks about the translation (Bard does not equal Baldo, wtf), but overall it seems pretty good. Reading it brought me great glee, as it once again reminded me of how much I adore the series.

After shopping, I had a 2 hour + phone conversation with DJ. It had been a few weeks since we'd last talked, so we had to catch up on all the latest happenings in each other's lives. Talking with him always puts a smile on my face, so after that I was in quite a good mood.

Tonight, we decided to have a girls' night, since half of us are currently single and the other half have boyfriends that live hours away. It was Courtney's idea. I actually don't know her all that well, but she knows Blaser and she's a member of IU's anime club. She seems pretty cool though. We started out with dinner at Friday's, then went back to our place for some video games. It was good to have something to do tonight, since it distracted me from the usual Valentine's emo.
