rinlinSo, I had the house to myself last night because my parents drove up to Wisconsin to pick Adam up from band camp. Having the house to myself all day isn't really unusual for me (because both of my parents work during the day), but I don't usually have the house to myself at night. Most of my friends were busy, but DJ came over and we had a sleepover. We visited Jessie at work and then came back to my house. Then we watched Spirited Away and spent a while just talking before we went to bed. It was just a nice relaxing time.
I don't want to sound like a bitch, but I'm not really looking forward to this week. My parents both took the week off and Adam has a break from marching band. That means that everyone is going to be home all the time. I'm not so pleased about this because these days I like having some space when it comes to my family. I get along with them fine, but after having independence at school and abroad, it's harder for me to have them around constantly. Simply put, I deal with my parents better when they're not home all the time. I will probably try to balance this out by spending some time in my room and by going out with my friends.
