I'm down to my last full day in Japan. I have a flight out of Narita at 7:05 PM tomorrow. I'm currently waiting for my luggage to be picked up and taken to the airport. I get to pick it up from the luggage transportation service when I go to the airport. I hope I understood them on the phone correctly (the entire conversation was in Japanese), because they're running a bit late. I'm getting kind of impatient.

I can't believe that the semester's already over. It seemed like three and a half months would be a long time, but everything went by so fast. Last night was the IES Sayonara Party. It was hard to realize that it's unlikely that I'll have the chance to meet a lot of these people again. I'm happy to be rid of some of them, but I'll miss the others. I'll miss Leslie the most, but I don't have to say goodbye to her until tomorrow. I think that I'm going to be helping her move some stuff into her apartment in Ikebukuro this afternoon. Then, I'm probably not going to sleep much tonight, to make the most of the time I have left.

I'm once again full of mixed emotions. I'm happy that I'll get to see my family and friends at home, but I'm not ready to leave Japan yet. I feel like I still have so much left to do here. I wish I was coming back for another semester, like some of the others in the program are. I know I'm going to cry when I leave tomorrow.
