I love weddings.

Tami and Mike's wedding was Saturday. It was lovely. All of us bridesmaids and Tami got up early to go get our hair and makeup done. Then it was off to get dressed and over to my aunt's house. Then we took a million pictures with the photographer. My God, I don't think I've ever seen so many pictures taken before. After that it was finally off to the church for the ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful. It was simple and not very extravagant. My Mom sang two solos during the ceremony. And Tami and Mike were so sweet together. You could tell how happy they were.

Then we went to the reception. It was at the local country club. The place was very nice and the food was pretty good. I had the most fun dancing after the dinner. I absolutely love dancing! I just hung around dancing with the rest of the bridesmaids. The DJs played an interesting variety of music, everything from "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" to "Baby Got Back" to "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy". Then a few people got pretty drunk. It was hilarious when Uncle Frank, Tami's dad, stared drunkenly dancing around with a sombrero on his head.

I was exhausted by the end on the night and my feet were killing me from my shoes, even though I took them off when I started dancing. But, overall I had fun. I don't know why I love weddings so much.
