Well, first of all I suppose I should say something on my opinion of HBP. The end totally shocked me. I was so upset. I didn't expect Dumbledore to die until the 7th book and didn't expect Snape to be the dirty traitor (although I'm wondering if he really is a traitor, or if Dumbledore's death was all some elaborate plan). I will say that I'm very happy with the Harry/Ginny and the Ron/Hermoine pairings. I just wish that Harry didn't tell Ginny they needed to break up. I'm not happy with Remus/Tonks though. I don't like it. It seemed completely random. (Besides that fact that I'd rather see Remus with Sirius). I also wonder what will happen if Harry doesn't go back to Hogwarts. I guess I will have to suffer and wait another 2 years for the last book. I will say that the book was very good, but I don't think it's one of my favorite HP books.
I just got back from seeing "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with my friends (Sam, Lisa, Allison, Alyssa, & DJ). Sam was visiting so we'd been trying to hang out all week. The movie was so good! I've seen part of the original Willy Wonka movie and hated it. I wasn't sure what I'd think of this one. Of course, how could it be bad with Johnny Depp in it? He did a great version of Willy Wonka. Very funny.
The funniest thing happened when we went for pizza after the movie. We ate our pizza and then went out to see DJ's new car. After loitering in the parking lot for a while (because Sam, Lisa, & I were waiting for our ride) we went back into the restaurant. We sat and waited by the benches. As we were waiting a man in a business suit was leaving the place. He jokingly asked us if we were having a meeting. Then he turned to DJ and said he was a very lucky guy to be surrounded by all these pretty girls. We cracked up after he left, because DJ has no romantic interest in girls! Allison said that DJ should have ran out after the guy and flirted with him. "You could be lucky tonight.*wink*" It was hilarious!
