They'll call it chance, or luck, or call it Fate

I have free time again! I'm finally finished with my quarter project for psychology. That cuts down on my stress.

I've decided that I'm not going to prom. I'd like to, but I don't have a date. I talked to my friend Bill because I was thinking we could go together. I just wanted to go as friends, but he likes me. He wants to start going out, but I don't like him like that. I only see him as a friend. He kept asking if I wanted to make prom a date, when I told him I didn't want to. It annoyed me, so I decided not to go with him. I figured it would just end up being really awkward.

This past weekend I had a three day weekend. I had some fun times and some not so fun times. 

Fun times were on Saturday, when I went to Ariel's birthday party at the roller rink. I hadn't been to the roller rink in forever (probably not since I was 10)! I hadn't been skating in so long, I really wasn't very good at it. I didn't skate so well by myself, but I did good when we all made a chain and skated together. Then, after the roller rink, we went back to Ariel's house for cake and anime watching. We watched the hilarious dub of the anime Ghost Stories and laughed so hard. Saturday was just really fun!

Not so fun times were on Sunday and Monday, when Elise and I had to do our video for psychology. The video itself wasn't hard, but we had problems getting the video done. First, the video camera wasn't working right, so we had to borrow Lisa's. Then, we needed a ride to get out to film the video, since neither of us have our drivers licenses. After this project, I know I need to get my driver's license, because finding a ride was a huge pain. (I must make dad take me driving so I can get all my required hours of driving time in!) We were finally able to get a ride with Jackie. Then, we needed to find a store that would let us film inside. After a few failed attempts we ended up at Amazing Fantasy, our awesome local comic books & anime store. They were very nice and let us film all we needed to there. Overall the project was a pain in the ass, but at least we were able to get it done.

I am sooo tired. I only got around two hours of sleep last night. It was our school's annual senior shirt night. It's one of the few traditions our school has. What happens is all the seniors get together with their groups of friends. You and your friends stay up all night making matching t-shirts to wear to the senior picture early the next morning. All of my friends and I spent the night at Elise's house. It was good times. There were ten of us in our group. We decorated our shirts with fabric paint and I think they came out pretty cute. Then we arrived at school at 6 AM to take the picture. After all that it was really hard to stay awake at school today. I'm so glad the school day's finally over! I need to go to bed early tonight.

I feel like I should be updating more, but there hasn't been much going on.

Something did happen today though. Poor Kala hurt herself in gym. She pulled something in her leg, so I had to push her around the school in a wheelchair to get her to her classes. Getting through the crowded halls was hard. Really, it's amazing how many people won't even help you out by getting out of the way, or even opening a door for you, when you are clearly pushing someone in a wheelchair.

Also, just a note to say that I'm wearing DJ's hoodie as I type this. It's sooo comfy! (It also smells like him.) He lent it to me in Foods today because I was so cold. Yay.

It's finally the weekend! I made it through the first week of school. It went about as well as can be expected. I see most of my friends during the day and have classes with quite a few of them. Most of my classes seem good too. I'm looking forward to more of my psychology class. So, I guess I'm happy with the school year so far. At least I will be until they start assigning more homework.

School starts tomorrow. I can't believe I'm starting my senior year. I'm not quite ready for summer to end, but there's nothing I can do about it. At least I'm not feeling depressed about it, like I have in previous years. I hope I like my classes.

I went to registration at school today. Got my schedule. It looks alright. Now I just have to see if I have any of my friends in my classes.

Being at the school made me realize that the summer is almost over. I can't believe school's starting in just a couple weeks. I'm not looking forward to more school work. At least I'll get to see my friends more once school starts back up.

Finals started yesterday. Now I have a three day weekend (yay!) and then I have two more days of finals. I'd rather just have all my finals at once and get them over with. I can't wait until the last day of school!
