Overall, I really did like the book. I'm so glad JKR didn't actually kill Harry. I would have been so upset if he had died after everything. I was upset when Remus died, but for some reason I was almost expecting it to happen. At least he can be with Sirius now. I was also sad that Fred died. I think it's pretty cruel to kill just one of the twins. Then there's Snape. I had hoped he was good all along, but I just wasn't sure. I liked seeing all his memories. I thought the whole Battle of Hogwarts was just awesome. It's incredibly fitting that the final battle took place there. As for the epilogue, all I'm saying is that I cracked up at the name Scorpius.

I'm sad that Harry Potter 's over (I've been reading it since I was 10), but I'm glad that it's brought me such enjoyment through the years. I love Harry Potter!

Friday was the midnight book party at Borders. It was so crowded there. Meghan and I spent most of our time waiting for the book chatting with people we met in the manga aisle of the store. After I picked up the book at Borders (which took quite a long time), we had to go across the street to Barnes and Noble, so Meghan could pick up her copy of the book. We were in and out of Barnes and Noble in a minute because, by the time we actually got over to Barnes and Noble, everyone had already gotten their books there. I spent Saturday in bed, in my pajamas, reading the book.

Sunday was Elise's graduation party. The power was out so we played games. First we played Apples to Apples. Then DJ and Jessie taught us how to play King Toad. That was the most amusing part of the night. "Squawk roar! Gobble gobble gobble!"

Yesterday I went out with DJ, Meghan, and Jessie. We went to the mall. And we had chicken teriyaki for dinner. Then we went to Lover's Lane because DJ and Jessie had never been there. We had to take Meghan home after that. Then DJ, Jessie, and I decided we were going to go looking for cute boys, but it turned out not to many cute boys were out on Monday night. So we ended up spending a few hours at Borders.
