(no subject)

I had a good time at the renaissance fair this weekend! As soon as we all got out of class on Friday, we left for Ohio. We arrived at Greta's house early Friday night. We had a bonfire outside and then turned in early, so we could be up in time the next morning. We spent most of the day at the ren fair on Saturday. It was Holly's first time at a ren fair (they don't have them in New Zealand), so she was really excited. I think she really enjoyed it. I didn't end up buying anything because I'm trying to save money for other things at the moment, but it was nice to just be at the fair. (I imagine that it would be very fun to work at a ren fair, even though it definitely wouldn't bring in the big bucks.) We went and saw a few funny shows while we were there, as well as the joust. I took some fun pictures of everything, but this was my favorite shot from the weekend.

We also made the executive decision that Holly is going to stay with us through at least the end of the month. She' going to spend her first ever Halloween with us! (They don't have Halloween in New Zealand either.)
