Sep. 6th, 2010 11:52 pmFeeling somewhat better now that everything's said and done. I'm still sad, but the pain is slightly easier to deal with.
One thing that has helped me cheer up is a new addition to our household at IU. While I was gone, my roommates took in a stray kitten. Alie found her and brought her in. The kitten is adorable with stripes and her eye have subtle heterochromia (one is brown and one is green). Assuming that no one claims her, we're going to keep her! We're counting on keeping her because we've already named her. Her name is Leroko (after Greta's character Lero, who also has heterochromia). She's a sweet little thing. She's kind of shy, but seems to be warming up to us more every day. I'm more of a dog person, but I don't mind having a cat for a while (and I don't even have to clean up after her because Alie and Nicole have agreed to do it \o/).

faevii!) If anyone else has an account there, feel free to friend me. I don't know how much I'll be using it and I don't plan on completely switching over to it at this point in time, but I'd just like to have it as a back-up, in case I ever get tired of LJ's fuckery.
