Everything's finally over. The wake was last night and the funeral was this morning. The wake was 5 hours, but it seemed to drag on forever. I hated seeing Grandpa there in the casket. He looked so fake, like he wasn't even real anymore. The funeral lasted a few hours, by the time the church service was over and we were finished at the cemetery. Everyone went to a luncheon afterwords. The food was good, but all I really wanted to do was go home.

I feel tired and crappy from crying so much.

Grandpa died this afternoon. I want to curl into a ball and cry; it's so depressing around here.

Why can't everything ever just stay normal? I was having a pretty good weekend until yesterday afternoon. Then Grandpa Baker went into the hospital with pneumonia. Mom went up to the hospital because they weren't sure if he was gonna make it. His condition is stablilized now, but I don't know if he'll recover. I mean, he's 92 years old. He hasn't been doing good recently as it is.
